Eligibility
Authors participating to NATO’s STO research activities and Collaborative Programme of Work, to NATO co-hosted or linked research, and to NATO Agencies producing recognized scientific and technological research, are welcome to submit their papers to the NATO Journal of Science and Technology.
Early Career Scientists and Researchers engaged in NATO Science and Technology research activities are particularly encouraged to submit to the journal, including articles reporting on the interim outcomes of their research.

Submission and Peer Review Process

- Send your article, cover page, completed NATO Publication Clearance Forms, and three referee nominations (including affiliation, Nation, and email address) to the journal’s This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. If you do not have a copy of the NATO Publication Clearance Forms at the time of submission, please request one from the Editorial Office.
- The Editorial Office will only process submissions once all relevant documents have been received. It will carry out the relevant submission checks and advise the corresponding author of next steps.
The schema below summarises the review process that manuscripts submitted to the NATO Journal of Science and Technology can expect. Authors of articles considered for peer review can contact the Editorial Office for updates on the process. Please note that the review and publication timescales vary for each paper, since they depend on the suitability of the paper, the availability of appropriate reviews, the number of revision iterations, authors’ turnaround times for manuscript revisions, and the production and author-proof process.
